There was a break in the trees up ahead to a small clearing. He could see the thin silhouetted shadow leap from the ground into the trees. This wouldn’t stop him. The light of the full moon radiant, lit his way through the darkened forest ahead. He reached the clearing, leaping as if gravity ceased to exist, and reached the same tree the creature in front had jumped on. His silver and black fur rumbled, as his muscles tensed and flexed in movement. His thick claws grasped at the tree bark, sliding downward as it tore in to grab hold. The wood fractured and broke beneath his razor sharp nails, but he didn’t lose grasp. His hind legs tensed and lunged for the next tree, continuing on in the chase. His movement was so quick; it would be but a blur to the human eye. But to the beast, he couldn’t move fast enough.
